Building on our back squats again this Tuesday. Big theme while we work on these strength pieces is to make sure we're moving well. We'd rather you see you back squat 100 lbs with great form, i.e. getting below parallel, nice bracing, etc, than back squatting 300 lbs without getting anywhere close to parallel, with a rounded back, etc. Focus on the technique/range of motion and the strength will come in time.
The METCON's 16 min time cap takes into consideration that some athletes may choose to do strict pullups or another pulling movement that may take more time. Ideally we are looking to finish this one in 10-12 mins.
