Happy Stretch Day folks!
We have a GREAT opportunity for you to practice a higher skill movement today, in a less intimidating environment. Ring dips can be a little scary in a regular workout so today is the perfect time to practice with no pressure. A ring support hold is really good for building some of the strength needed to perform a ring dip correctly and safely. Your coach will help you with this.
The METCON on deck looks fun too. I don't know if we've tackled a db clean into a step-up before...we've done both movements many times so it's just a matter of putting them together. The step ups will take time, but the wallballs are FAST. Take a short break after the step ups to gather yourself then try to hold on for an unbroken set.
Of course, we have Olympic lifting at 5:30 with Coach Amy! Get in here and work on those OLY skills!
