Monday 05052025

We are retesting our back squat on FRIDAY of this week so we're dialling back the intensity somewhat. We have some maintenance squatting through the week to keep our mindset sharp and focused on moving weight with speed and good tension. All to get us ready to attack the heavy single session on Friday and crush a new PR.


Today's a classic 5x5 at 50% and then an EMOM couplet x 2

The double unders should take a max 0:30 and the whole set of work a max of 0:40. It's important to choose a weight on the deadlift that you can move technically very well, with an emphasis on speed. There's a range of 3-5 on the deadlifts to accommodate this.
