Another Friday is here!
We're going to focus on the top portion, the lockout, of the deadlift today. Something a little different. With the bar setup on the squat rack at around mid-thigh height, build tension on the bar like we would for a deadlift from the ground then extend your hips and squeeze your butt.
For the METCON, we want to see heavy hang snatches with good technique. There'e a potential for A LOT of double unders/skipping here, especially if we go lighter on the snatches and get to the rope too soon. The snatches should take 2 sets and you don't want more than a minute to work on the skips. If your legs are feeling pretty beat up, you could alternate rounds of skipping and machine work to mitigate the volume of bounding.
