Today is meant to be a lower intensity day... I know running may not seem like a low intensity exercise to some of you, but we can work on making it so.
From Michelle of HWPO on the run portion of this METCON:
Run slow
Run slow, really? Yes. Really. Running slow helps us reduce the intensity (duh) but ALSO it helps us gain running efficiency. If we constantly try to run fast we lose our focus on posture & cadence. When athletes run today, they should focus on keeping their shoulders low, their arms bent and their palms facing upward. If they match this upper body posture with a higher cadence with shorter strides, they’ll have much less impact per stride.
