Big Squat day for this week. This is our heavy day folks. We'll be working 3 back squats at 85% of our, recently determined, 1 rep max every 2:00. Remember that number? I hope so!


Keeping the "dos minutos" theme alive for the METCON, we're jumping into a burner set of 8 intervals that are sure to polish off the old leggies just so nicely. If you really don't trust your legs after the heavy squats, reduce the box height on the first 4 intervals. Pay attention to the movement order flip after the first 4 intervals, as well as the box height change. in a nice little twist, the rep count decreases for the last 4 intervals.

Whatever rep scheme you choose to tackle, if your time on the interval is longer than 1:30, you should be shaving a few reps to ensure that you do come in under 1.5 mins. Dragging yourself through an interval style workout like this by finishing just under the wire every set is NOT an ideal way to train.
