Awesome hustle on that marathon Wednesday workout! Those longer metcons are tough efforts but building the mental resilience, to know you can push through, is just as important as building muscle. Learning how to pace ourselves and stay just below that redline is at the essence of threshold training. When your coach suggests that you scale or modify a movement, their motivation is entirely geared towards this idea of you working at your absolute best and even just a little bit beyond, in order to grow and improve. Scaling is the quickest and most efficient route to excellence!
