Speed squat Monday. Woo-hoo.
It's all about generating force quickly. We aren't looking for a solid lockout at the top of every rep today. We're moving quickly, with intention. We want to see you keep your feet grounded (screw your feet into the floor, spread the floor, etc). Pull yourself into the bottom of the squat and drive out of the hole as quickly as you can. You will have to focus on keeping a VERY rigid midline (big breath in, squeeze your belly and squeeze your butt as you stand tall) in order to transfer power effectively into the bar and drive it up.
Nice interval couplet to finish the day. The goal is to work quickly in order to maximize your rest in the first interval. Choose a weight that you COULD do 21 STOH (Shoulder To Overhead) unbroken but that you likely won't, in order to pace just enough to keep moving well.
