It's taking the fitness world by storm and it seems like everyone wants to try it out. You've heard about it...it rhymes with TRYLOX. We're going to call it Fitness Racing for now.
We will be posting three sessions per week for you to whet your whistle with, if you so choose. These aren't coached classes for now and would have to be done during open gym times, especially if you plan on dragging/pushing a sled around the gym. If you have any questions about it all, please ask us! It's all pretty straightforward. A typical HYROX race consists of the same set stations separated by a 1km run.
This is how the race is setup:
The Hyrox® Race has 8 stations + 8 x 1000m Running. Below is the movement & race order.
1 km Run
1000 m SkiErg

2×25 m Sled Push

2×25 m Sled Pull
1 km Run
80m Burpee Broad Jump
1 km Run
1000 m Rowing
1 km Run
200 m Kettle Bell Farmers Carry
